外文俱乐部带您探寻《四世同堂》[图]

2月23日上午，宁波图书馆在一楼多功能厅举行了“探寻《四世同堂》”讲座，由馆员刘芳元主讲。讲座中，刘芳元梳理了《四世同堂》自1978年以来出版的各种回译版本，条分缕析，让读者收获满满。同时，她还从翻译策略的独特视角出发，对赵武平、毕冰宾两位译者的回译风格进行了比较和总结。讲座现场，一位91岁高龄的读者冒雨前来参加活动。她深情回忆了1958年在北京参加全国推广普通话会议时，亲耳聆听老舍先生讲话的经历。她的互动饱含深情，字字句句都打动着在场每一位读者的心。

外文俱乐部暑期英语课开讲了！7月7日，宁波图书馆暑期英语课系列活动第一期顺利举行，近30位读者参加本期“英文绘本阅读家长篇”活动。刘芳元馆员担任主讲人，从教育的理念、资料的选择、阅读的步骤等方面向家长传授了高效与孩子共同阅读绘本的技巧，语言幽默，氛围活跃。课后，家长们还提问了一系列问题，她一一予以解答。外文俱乐部将在7月和8月间共推出8节暑期英语课，下一节课将于7月14日开讲。
