布鲁姆斯伯里
总部位于英国伦敦的布鲁姆斯伯里，是英国大众出版领域知名的独立出版社，创始人Nigel Newton，是一位住在伦敦的美国加利福尼亚人。1986年，他与三位朋友一起创立了布鲁姆斯伯里Bloomsbury。可能大家都听说过J.K.罗琳的哈利·波特系列小说第一部《哈利·波特与魔法石》，曾被近10家出版社拒绝，那同意出版这本书的是哪家呢？对了！就是今天向大家介绍的布鲁姆斯伯里Bloomsbury。
布鲁姆斯伯里的编辑Barry Cunningham一口气读完了《哈利波特与魔法石》，马上亲自将书稿推荐给了儿童文学营销部经理Rosamund de la Hey。1997年，布鲁姆斯伯里开始出版“哈利·波特”系列图书，这才有了风靡全球的魔法世界。
布鲁姆斯伯里也从一个独立出版社，一个仅在英国第二梯队的出版社，竟能在世界童书界声名显赫。哈利波特的魔法世界，不仅仅吸引着小朋友们，也让世界各地全年龄段的人们着迷。
